Leila's ("we," "us") is a small family business based in Markham, Ontario, Canada. We respect your privacy and only collect what we need to fulfill your order and answer your questions. We never sell or rent your information to anyone.
What we collect
- Your name, email, and (if you give it) phone number — when you contact us or place an order.
- Your shipping address and order details — to send your pieces to you.
- Messages you send us through our contact form or by email.
Payments
All card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your full card number is entered directly with Stripe — we never see, handle, or store your card details. You can read Stripe's own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
How we use your information
- To process, make, and ship your order.
- To reply to your enquiries and confirm custom-order details.
- To keep a simple record of your order, as required for our bookkeeping.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the shop, and only what's needed to complete your order — for example: Stripe (to take payment), our shipping carrier (to deliver your parcel), and the tools that deliver our contact-form emails. We do not sell your data or use it for outside advertising.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just reach out through our contact form and we'll take care of it.
If something isn't right
Refunds & Returns

Every piece is made by hand, so small natural variations in colour, texture, and shape are part of its character — not flaws. That said, we want you to love what you receive. If something isn't right, please reach out.
Returns
If you'd like to return a ready-made item, please email us within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition. Once we receive and check the returned piece, we'll issue your refund.
For hygiene reasons, skincare & body products and pierced earrings cannot be returned once they've been opened or worn — unless they arrived faulty or damaged.
Custom & made-to-order pieces
Because these are created especially for you, custom and made-to-order pieces cannot be returned or refunded, and the deposit is non-refundable. We'll always confirm the details with you before we begin, so you know exactly what to expect.
Damaged in transit
If your order arrives damaged, please get in touch within 48 hours of delivery through our contact form and we'll make it right with a replacement or refund.
How refunds work
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days. Return shipping is covered by the customer unless the item was faulty or we made an error.

Just reach out through our contact form with your name and order details, and we'll guide you through it personally.

We currently ship within Canada and to the United States, from our home in Markham, Ontario.
Rates
- Canada: Free shipping on orders over $100 — otherwise a $20 flat rate.
- United States: $30 flat rate.
You'll see your shipping option at checkout before you pay. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
Processing & timing
Ready-made pieces are typically packed and shipped within 2–5 business days. Made-to-order and custom pieces take longer to create by hand — we'll always let you know the timeline before we begin.
Tracking
Once your order ships, we'll be in touch with any tracking details so you can follow it on its way to you.
US customs & duties
For orders shipped to the United States, any customs fees or import duties are the responsibility of the customer.

Our products
Everything we sell is handmade, so each piece is unique and small natural variations in colour, texture, and shape are normal. We do our best to show every item accurately, but screens can display colours differently. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and may change at any time.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if an item is no longer available or there's an error in its price or description — and if you've already paid in that case, we'll refund you in full. For custom and made-to-order pieces, a non-refundable deposit applies as described in our Refunds & Returns policy.
Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By paying, you confirm you're authorized to use the payment method provided. We never see or store your full card details.

A note on our pieces
Any traditional meanings we share about gemstones and crystals are offered for interest and enjoyment — they are not medical claims or advice. Our skincare and body products are for external cosmetic use and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition; please patch-test first and check with your doctor if you have sensitivities, allergies, or are pregnant.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Leila's isn't liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from the use of our site or products. Our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there.
